Project 1: Three-Day Wedding Celebration

Role: Owner & CEO, Four Season Events
Objective: To meticulously plan, coordinate, and execute a flawless, multi-day wedding celebration for a high-profile client, managing all aspects of the event across three distinct venues for over 200 guests.

Key Contributions:

  • Led all aspects of full-service event management, from initial creative concept and venue selection to on-the-day execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Managed a complex network of over 15 vendors, including catering, transport, entertainment, and personal services, ensuring all were aligned to a single, seamless schedule.
  • Developed a comprehensive budget and financial reporting system, ensuring all costs were tracked and the project maintained profitability.
  • Oversaw day-to-day front-of-house operations and guest experience management, personally ensuring the flawless delivery of each event and guest satisfaction.

Results:

  1. Delivered a beautiful, stress-free event that exceeded client expectations and received significant positive feedback.
  2. Secured four additional events from guests who attended, demonstrating a proven ability to forge lasting client relationships and drive repeat business.
  3. Achieved a 20% increase in company revenue from the previous year, highlighting direct commercial success.

Project 2: Community Annual Fun Day

Role: Chairperson, Parents Association (Bishopstown Boys School)
Objective: To lead a volunteer team in the planning, coordination, and execution of a large-scale annual community fundraising event, securing sponsorship and generating vital funds for school enhancements.

Key Contributions:

  • Provided strategic leadership, directing all aspects of the event from concept and budget planning to on-site execution and evaluation.
  • Coordinated and managed a dedicated team of volunteers (20+ members), fostering a collaborative environment to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Successfully developed and implemented a fundraising sponsorship plan, generating vital funds from local businesses and institutions.
  • Led the execution of a multi-tiered event that attracted over 1000 attendees, managing all logistical and operational requirements.

Results:

  1. Delivered a fun and well- attended event that received positive feedback and record number attendances
  2. Achieved a phenomenal increase in fundraising results year-over-year, culminating in successfully raising €10,000 in 2025 (a 53.8% increase from 2024), directly supporting school enhancements and student resources.

Project 3: Corporate Public Engagement 

Role: Co-Lead, True Ability ERG, Dell Technologies
Objective: To design and manage a flagship public engagement event that championed disability inclusion, fostered collaboration with charity partners, and engaged a large corporate and public audience.

Key Contributions:

  • Led a team of 20+ multi-disciplinary members to articulate and deliver a strategic public engagement plan for the Cork site, aligning with corporate EDI values.
  • Oversaw the full event lifecycle, from developing the creative concept and securing budget approval to managing vendor coordination and on-the-day logistics for a series of events.
  • Coordinated with multiple external charity partners (e.g., Guide Dogs Ireland, Down Syndrome Ireland), building relationships and aligning on shared event objectives.
  • Developed methodologies to understand and enhance the user experience of programmes by organizing feedback sessions with partners and attendees.

Results:

  1. The event led to a significant increase in engagement from charity partners, fostering stronger collaborative relationships.
  2. The initiative directly resulted in the creation of new events and partnerships, showcasing a proven ability to evaluate and improve programming for future success.

Project 4: Operational Process Enhancement for a Non-Profit

Role: Consultant, Project/Program Management (Pro Bono)
Objective: To analyze and overhaul the operational processes for a non-profit, creating a structured and efficient framework to support day-to-day functions and events.

Key Contributions:

  • Instead of merely replacing contractors, a full overhaul of operational processes was implemented. This included a deep analysis of existing service providers, performance evaluation against quality metrics, and the creation of new policies and procedures for facilities management. The focus was on building a sustainable system, not just a temporary fix.
  • Developed and implemented a full suite of new policies and procedures, including a new contractor review system, to significantly enhance daily operations and accountability.
  • Provided expert advice and leadership, training staff and volunteers on the new processes to ensure a seamless transition and continuous improvement.

Results:

  1. The initiative resulted in a tangible reduction in overhead costs by €6,000 per year, demonstrating strong financial and operational rigor.
  2. The new processes created a repeatable, structured framework for daily operations, reducing administrative bottlenecks and increasing predictability.
